How can I find out what jobs are available?
Click on the word JOBS in the toolbar on the home page of our website. It will list every job we have open. Click on the job you are interested in and you will be able to print out a fact sheet about that job including duties, working hours, pay and benefits.
How long does my application stay on file?
All employment applications remain active for one year after date of application. If you become interested in a position and have an application already on file, you may call the Human Resources Department at (618) 963-2387 ext. 8008 to ask to be considered for that position or email firstname.lastname@example.org
What are you looking for in an employee?
We want employees who are dedicated to helping people change their lives for the better. It’s important for them to be flexible, honest, reliable, kind and understand ones commitment to employment.
What are your working hours?
Monday through Wednesday from 7:30am to 5:30pm and Thursday from 7:30am to 5pm. Closed Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Only our senior nutrition centers are open Monday through Friday.
What is your process once you receive my application?
Once the deadline for the opening has ended, the Program Director reviews all the applications that were turned in before the deadline. Due to the large number of employment applications we receive, only those selected for an interview will be notified. After the interviews have been completed, the interview team makes a recommendation to the Executive Director of who they wish to hire. Once approved, an employment offer is made to the candidate. If accepted, a start date is decided on. The person spends the first day in agency orientation at the Enfield administrative office.
